📝 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role includes site analysis, system modeling, layout creation, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and installation teams to deliver efficient and high-performance solar energy systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• 🏠 Design grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems based on project scope
• 📍 Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies using tools like Helioscope, PVsyst, and AutoCAD
• 📊 Perform energy yield simulations, shading analysis, and system sizing calculations
• 🧰 Develop single-line diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, and layout drawings
• 🧾 Ensure system designs meet NEC, IEC, and other relevant industry standards and local regulations
• 🔄 Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure optimal system performance and cost-efficiency
• 💸 Support the cost-benefit analysis and assist in the preparation of technical proposals
• 📈 Stay informed on emerging solar technologies, storage solutions, and industry best practices

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related field
• 🧪 3 to 5 years of experience in solar PV design and engineering
• 💻 Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, SketchUp, and similar tools
• ⚡ Strong understanding of electrical design, power distribution, and load calculations
• 🔋 Familiarity with battery storage systems, inverters, and balance-of-system (BOS) components
• 📘 Solid knowledge of solar codes and regulations (NEC, IEC, MNRE, etc.)
• 📊 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• 🤝 Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

⭐ Preferred Qualifications:

• 🏗️ Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) for solar projects
• 🌐 Knowledge of SCADA systems, microgrid design, and IoT integration in solar systems
