Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative products or systems using CAD tools and engineering principles. Your work will directly contribute to product performance, quality, and manufacturability. 🎯
🧩 Key Responsibilities:
- 🖥️ Create detailed 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and prototypes for components and assemblies
- ⚙️ Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and product simulations
- 🧪 Collaborate with R&D and testing teams to validate design functionality and safety
- 📝 Prepare and maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and design specifications
- 🤝 Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement
- 📈 Improve designs based on performance feedback, customer input, or field data
- ♻️ Ensure designs comply with industry standards, certifications, and safety norms
- ⏱️ Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met within schedule
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Design or related field
- 💻 Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD software
- 📐 Strong grasp of engineering design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
- 🔍 High attention to detail and strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- 🗣️ Good communication and team collaboration abilities
- 🛡️ Knowledge of quality standards (ISO, BIS, etc.) is a plus
- 🏭 Experience in product design within electrical, mechanical, or industrial sectors preferred
