The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas. They assist in cleaning dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, and ensure overall sanitation of the workspace to support food preparation and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Ensure the kitchen and storage areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors, walls, worktables, and kitchen equipment
• Collect and dispose of garbage properly and follow recycling procedures
• Replenish clean items for use in the kitchen and dining areas
• Assist kitchen and service staff during busy hours when required
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe manner
• Follow hygiene and sanitation policies in food preparation and storage
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor or maintenance team
• Adhere to all company and health department safety standards
