Wonder Groups of Companies, a leader in cosmetics and personal care manufacturing, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Dy. Manager/Assistant Manager - Maintenance to support and enhance operations at our Kala Amb facility.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dy. Manager/Assistant Manager - Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance of all equipment, with 8-12 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Chemical sectors, offering competitive salary and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure their optimal performance.
• Lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, ensuring effective planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor and ensure that maintenance schedules and tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults in the production machinery and related systems.
• Ensure that corrective actions are taken immediately and are documented properly for future reference.
• Improve equipment reliability by continuously analyzing data from maintenance logs and suggesting preventive measures to minimize downtime.
• Initiate continuous improvement programs to reduce equipment failures, improve efficiency, and increase uptime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate records for equipment maintenance, repairs, and service activities, in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist in budgeting for maintenance activities, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources (manpower, equipment, and materials).
• Manage inventory levels of critical spares and maintenance supplies, ensuring timely procurement.
• Train and develop maintenance staff on best practices, troubleshooting, and the use of new technology.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and skill assessments of the maintenance team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (B.E./B. Tech).
• Experience:
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in a Maintenance role, preferably in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Chemical manufacturing companies.
  • Experience in handling maintenance of production machinery, electrical systems, and automation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, and automation systems would be an advantage.
