About the Role

ShikshaTraining Development Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and professionally skilled Professional Makeup Artist (TOT Certified Trainer) to deliver quality skill training to candidates as per the curriculum and guidelines prescribed by the respective Sector Skill Council.

The trainer will be responsible for classroom and practical training, candidate counselling, attendance management, MIS reporting, pre-assessment preparation, assessment readiness and motivating candidates towards successful certification and placement.

Trainer Eligibility

1. Must be TOT-certified by the respective Sector Skill Council, preferably Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council.
2. Qualification, experience and eligibility should be in accordance with the applicable NSQF Qualification Pack and Sector Skill Council guidelines.
3. For Professional Makeup Artist, the relevant qualification is BWS/Q0306 – Professional Makeup Artist, an NSQF Level 4 qualification.
4. Candidates should have relevant professional experience in makeup, beauty and wellness services.
5. Minimum 1 year of relevant industry/training experience is required for this vacancy.
6. Strong practical knowledge of professional makeup techniques, skincare preparation, client consultation, hygiene and workplace safety is preferred.

The Professional Makeup Artist qualification includes competencies related to skincare, makeup, groom makeup, airbrush makeup, HD makeup, fantasy makeup, client consultation and workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Candidate Counselling
   1. Counsel candidates regarding the course, job role, career opportunities and industry requirements.
   2. Motivate candidates to actively participate in training.
2. Training Delivery
   1. Conduct theoretical and practical training as per the module curriculum prescribed by the Sector Skill Council.
   2. Provide demonstrations and hands-on practice in professional makeup techniques.
   3. Ensure candidates understand both technical and practical aspects of the job role.
3. Attendance Monitoring
   1. Maintain daily attendance records.
   2. Monitor candidate participation and punctuality.
   3. Follow up with candidates regarding irregular attendance.
4. Daily MIS Reporting
   1. Prepare and submit daily training/MIS reports.
   2. Maintain training records, attendance and candidate progress reports.
   3. Coordinate with the center management regarding training updates.
5. Pre-Assessment Preparation
   1. Conduct practice sessions and mock assessments.
   2. Identify candidates' learning gaps and provide additional support.
   3. Prepare candidates according to assessment requirements.
6. Assessment & Certification Readiness
   1. Prepare candidates for final assessment and certification.
   2. Ensure candidates are familiar with theoretical and practical assessment requirements.
   3. Coordinate with the concerned team for assessment-related activities.
7. Placement Motivation
   1. Motivate candidates to participate in placement activities.
   2. Guide candidates regarding employment opportunities in salons, beauty studios, makeup services and related industries.
   3. Encourage candidates to achieve good grades and successfully complete the course.
8. Training Quality & Results
9. Maintain high-quality training standards.
10. Work towards achieving a minimum target of 95% candidate success/result, subject to candidate participation, attendance and assessment performance.
11. Provide additional mentoring and practical support to candidates who require improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. TOT-certified Professional Makeup Artist/Trainer.
2. Relevant qualification and industry experience as per applicable NSQF/SSC requirements.
3. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
4. Excellent practical makeup skills.
5. Good communication and counselling skills.
6. Ability to conduct classroom as well as practical sessions.
7. Strong candidate engagement and mentoring ability.
8. Willingness to work at an offline training center in North Jharkhand.
9. Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
