Trainer Eligibility & Qualification

1. Trainer must be TOT Certified by the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) for the relevant job role.
2. Trainer's education, qualification and relevant industry experience should be aligned with the applicable NSQF/QP and ESSCI trainer requirements.
3. Relevant qualifications may include 12th Science, ITI, NTC/NAC, Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent relevant qualifications, subject to the applicable trainer criteria.
4. Minimum 2 years of relevant industry/training experience is required for this vacancy.
5. Candidates with practical experience in home appliance repair, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and after-sales service will be preferred.
6. Strong practical knowledge of electrical and electronic components, testing instruments and appliance servicing.
7. Good communication, interpersonal and candidate-handling skills.
8. Ability to conduct classroom, laboratory and hands-on practical training.

The qualification specifically includes Customer Engagement and Service Delivery as a mandatory component and allows electives covering LED lighting, geysers/fans, water purifiers and juicer/mixer/grinder repair.

Key Responsibilities

1. Candidate Counselling

Counsel candidates regarding the Multi-Skill Technician (Home Appliances) training program, job opportunities, career progression and industry expectations.

2. Training Delivery

Deliver theory and practical training according to the module-based curriculum prescribed by ESSCI, ensuring candidates understand the required technical and employability skills.

3. Practical & Hands-on Training

Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises related to appliance installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, testing and customer service.

4. Attendance Monitoring

Monitor daily candidate attendance and encourage regular participation throughout the training program.

5. Daily MIS Reporting

Prepare and submit accurate daily MIS reports covering attendance, training progress, practical sessions, candidate performance and other required information.

6. Pre-Assessment

Conduct pre-assessment, practice tests, mock practical activities and skill-gap analysis to identify areas requiring improvement.

7. Assessment & Certification Preparation

Prepare candidates for the final assessment and certification through revision, mock assessments, practical demonstrations and continuous performance evaluation.

8. Candidate Motivation

Motivate candidates to maintain good attendance, improve their technical skills, achieve good grades and successfully complete the training program.

9. Placement Support

Motivate and guide candidates towards placement opportunities in consumer durables, home appliance service, after-sales service, installation and repair sectors.

10. Result & Training Quality

Work towards achieving the organization's target of 95% successful assessment results, subject to candidate attendance, participation, learning outcomes and the independent assessment process.

11. Training Documentation

Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, practical training records, assessment-preparation records and other required training documentation.

12. Centre & Team Coordination

Coordinate with centre management, project teams and placement teams to ensure smooth delivery of the training program and timely completion of all training activities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Home Appliances Technician / Service Technician / Consumer Durables Technician / Electronics Technician with valid ESSCI TOT certification, strong practical knowledge and the ability to deliver effective classroom and hands-on technical training.
