Trainer Eligibility

1. Trainer must be TOT Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council, preferably certified for Technician 5G – Active Network Installation (TEL/Q6213).
2. Education, qualification and relevant industry experience should be as per the applicable NSQF/TSSC trainer requirements.
3. Candidates with relevant experience in 5G networks, telecom infrastructure, network installation, RAN/active network equipment, commissioning, troubleshooting and telecom field operations will be preferred.
4. Strong practical knowledge of 5G active network installation and associated safety procedures is required.
5. Good communication, presentation and candidate-handling skills.

The current TSSC qualification specifies 12th pass, or completion of the second year of a relevant three-year diploma, with alternative experience-based pathways for candidates with lower-level relevant qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Candidate Counselling

1. Counsel candidates regarding the course, job role, career opportunities and telecom industry requirements.
2. Explain the importance of 5G technology and active network installation skills.

2. Training Delivery

1. Deliver theoretical and practical training as per the approved curriculum and modules prescribed by the Sector Skill Council.
2. Provide hands-on training related to 5G active network installation, equipment handling, testing and troubleshooting.
3. Ensure training is delivered according to the prescribed learning outcomes and NSQF requirements.

3. Attendance Monitoring

1. Monitor and maintain daily candidate attendance.
2. Ensure regular participation and timely completion of training activities.

4. Daily MIS Reporting

1. Prepare and submit daily MIS reports.
2. Maintain training records, attendance, progress reports and other required documentation.

5. Pre-Assessment

1. Conduct regular mock tests, practical evaluations and pre-assessment activities.
2. Identify learning gaps and provide corrective training before the final assessment.

6. Assessment & Certification Preparation

1. Prepare candidates for final assessment and certification.
2. Conduct revision sessions, practical demonstrations and assessment-oriented activities.
3. Ensure candidates understand both theoretical and practical components of the qualification.

7. Placement Motivation

1. Motivate candidates to pursue employment opportunities in the telecom and 5G sector.
2. Support candidates in developing professional, technical and workplace skills.
3. Encourage candidates to achieve good grades and maintain professional standards.

8. Training Quality & Result Responsibility

1. Maintain high standards of training quality and candidate engagement.
2. Work towards achieving a minimum 95% assessment result target, subject to candidate attendance, participation and assessment performance.
3. Provide additional support and revision to candidates who require improvement.

Preferred Trainer Profile

1. TOT Certified Trainer – Technician 5G – Active Network Installation
2. Relevant telecom/5G industry experience
3. Strong practical and technical knowledge
4. Good classroom and practical training ability
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to maintain MIS and training documentation
7. Ability to work at an offline training centre in Kumarghat, Tripura
8. Strong candidate counselling and placement orientation
