Job Description – Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage Service (TOT Certified Trainer)
Position: Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage Service (TOT Certified Trainer)
Qualification: Diploma / Graduation in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service, or a related field.
Certification: TOT (Training of Trainers) Certification preferred/required.
Experience: Relevant industry and/or training experience in Food & Beverage Service and Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training in Food & Beverage Service as per the prescribed curriculum and training standards.
- Demonstrate restaurant, banquet, table service, guest handling, order-taking, and serving procedures.
- Train candidates on menu knowledge, table setting, mise-en-place, KOT/BOT handling, POS operations, and service etiquette.
- Provide practical demonstrations and ensure candidates develop job-ready hospitality skills.
- Maintain professional standards of grooming, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Conduct assessments, practical evaluations, and regular learner performance reviews.
- Maintain attendance records, training reports, daily MIS, and other required documentation.
- Counsel and motivate candidates for successful assessment, certification, and employment.
- Coordinate with the training centre team to ensure smooth delivery of training and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Support candidates in developing communication, customer-service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage Service, guest handling, restaurant operations, hospitality etiquette, food safety and hygiene, communication skills, practical demonstration, classroom management, and candidate engagement.
Preferred Profile: Candidates with a Diploma/Graduation in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management and relevant industry/training experience, along with a valid TOT Certification.
