Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Solid Waste Management to lead and oversee solid waste management projects from planning to successful implementation. The role involves managing project operations, field teams, budgets, timelines, stakeholder relationships, and compliance while ensuring effective waste collection, segregation, processing, recycling, and responsible disposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and monitor end-to-end solid waste management projects.
- Develop project plans, work schedules, budgets, targets, and resource requirements.
- Oversee waste collection, source segregation, transportation, processing, recycling, composting, and disposal activities.
- Coordinate with Municipal Corporations, Urban Local Bodies, government departments, NGOs, communities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities comply with applicable environmental regulations and Solid Waste Management Rules.
- Lead and supervise project staff, field teams, waste workers, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets, deliverables, and performance indicators.
