Job Summary
BuddyMaa is seeking an experienced, strategic, and result-oriented Manager – Sustainable Land Management to lead and coordinate initiatives focused on sustainable land use, natural resource conservation, ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and community-based environmental development. The candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating land management and environmental sustainability projects while working closely with communities, government departments, NGOs, technical experts, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of sustainable land management and natural resource management projects.
- Develop strategies for land restoration, soil conservation, watershed management, and sustainable land use.
- Coordinate activities related to climate change adaptation, ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability.
- Conduct field assessments, identify land and resource management challenges, and recommend appropriate technical interventions.
- Work with rural and local communities to promote sustainable land-use practices and conservation initiatives.
- Coordinate with government departments, NGOs, CSR partners, development agencies, and technical institutions.
- Develop project plans, budgets, implementation schedules, and performance indicators.
