Job Description
BuddyMaa is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee programs focused on Medical Services, Human Resources for Health (HRH), Leadership Development, Communicable Disease, Governance & Data Systems, and Government Institution Strengthening. The role will involve providing strategic and technical leadership for large-scale public health and healthcare initiatives, strengthening government institutions and health systems, improving workforce capabilities, and ensuring effective use of data for planning, monitoring, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall program management for healthcare and public health initiatives.
- Lead programs related to medical services, HRH, leadership development, communicable diseases, governance, and health data systems.
- Develop and implement annual work plans, program strategies, budgets, milestones, and performance targets.
- Strengthen the capacity of government institutions, health departments, healthcare facilities, and frontline health workers.
- Design and implement HRH capacity-building, leadership development, mentoring, and training initiatives.
- Support government partners in strengthening healthcare delivery systems, institutional processes, governance mechanisms, and service quality.
- Lead initiatives related to prevention, management, and control of communicable diseases.
