We are looking for responsible, caring, and dedicated candidates for the position of General Duty Assistant Trainee. The trainee will support healthcare professionals in providing basic patient care, maintaining hygiene, assisting with patient mobility, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning as required.
- Assist healthcare staff in maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Help with bed making, changing linens, and maintaining cleanliness around patients.
- Follow basic hygiene, sanitation, and infection-control practices.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting basic patient needs to healthcare professionals.
- Provide support to elderly, dependent, and recovering patients.
- Maintain proper care and handling of basic healthcare equipment and supplies.
- Follow hospital/healthcare facility rules, safety procedures, and professional standards.
- Communicate politely and respectfully with patients, attendants, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patients' privacy and dignity.
- Perform other patient-support duties as assigned by the supervisor.
