Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Program Manager – Women Entrepreneurship to lead our flagship Udyamini Programme, focused on promoting women-led entrepreneurship, strengthening Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and creating sustainable livelihood and enterprise opportunities for women. The Senior Program Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to the programme, work closely with field teams and partners, manage donor and government relationships, and support programme expansion across geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and scale-up of the Udyamini Programme.
- Develop strategies to promote women-led entrepreneurship, livelihoods, and enterprise development.
- Strengthen SHGs, women collectives, FPOs, and community-based institutions.
- Design and oversee entrepreneurship development, business development, capacity-building, and financial literacy initiatives for women.
- Develop and implement training and mentoring strategies for women entrepreneurs and field teams.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical support to programme and field teams.
- Build and maintain partnerships with government departments, donors, NGOs, financial institutions, CSR organizations, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Coordinate with government programmes and institutions, including NRLM, MSRLM, NABARD, and other relevant livelihood and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Entrepreneurship, Management, Economics, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant professional experience in gender, livelihoods, entrepreneurship development, rural development, or related development-sector programmes.
- Minimum 6 years of experience working with SHGs, women collectives, FPOs, or community-based organizations.
