Job Summary
BuddyMaa is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager – Climate Change & Environment to lead and manage high-impact environmental, climate resilience, sustainability, biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, and natural resource management programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating multiple projects while collaborating with government departments, NGOs, CSR organizations, donor agencies, research institutions, and community stakeholders to achieve sustainable environmental and social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of climate change and environmental programs.
- Develop project implementation plans, work schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage programs related to climate adaptation, climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, waste management, water conservation, and sustainable livelihoods.
- Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, CSR partners, corporate organizations, donor agencies, and international development organizations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, ESG standards, donor guidelines, and organizational policies.
- Prepare technical proposals, concept notes, grant applications, project reports, and donor presentations.
- Monitor project progress using Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks..
