Job Description – Community Mobilizer
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Community Mobilizer to engage with communities, build strong relationships with local stakeholders, and support the successful implementation of development programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mobilizing beneficiaries, conducting awareness campaigns, organizing community meetings, and ensuring active participation in project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobilize and engage community members for project activities and programs.
- Conduct awareness sessions, campaigns, workshops, and community meetings.
- Identify eligible beneficiaries and facilitate their participation in project initiatives.
- Coordinate with local authorities, self-help groups (SHGs), schools, community-based organizations (CBOs), and other stakeholders.
- Collect field data, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular activity reports.
- Support project implementation, monitoring, and follow-up activities at the grassroots level.
- Address community concerns and provide timely information about available services and schemes.
- Assist in organizing training programs, outreach events, and capacity-building activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with project guidelines.
- Travel regularly to assigned field locations and maintain strong community relationships.
Eligibility
- Minimum qualification: 10+2; Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Humanities, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in community mobilization, NGO projects, rural development, healthcare, education, or livelihood programs is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in the local language and basic English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in field locations.

Education Qualification
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Technical Education : Graduate in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Humanities, or any relevant discipline
Certificate : Community Development Training (Preferred)
Industrial Certificate : Experience in community mobilization or fieldwork
