About the Role
- We are seeking a qualified and passionate Retail Sales Assistant Trainer to deliver high-quality skill training under the NSQF-aligned Qualification Pack (RAS/Q0103 – Level 3). The trainer will be responsible for delivering domain training, ensuring candidate readiness for assessments, and supporting placement outcomes.
Mandatory Requirement
- Trainer must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (RASCI or relevant SSC).
- Certification aligned with Retail Sales Assistant / Trainer (VET & Skills) is preferred.
Educational Qualification (As per NSQF / NCVET Guidelines)
12th Pass with relevant retail experience
OR
Diploma / Graduate in Retail / Any Discipline
Experience (As per NSQF Guidelines)
Minimum:
4 years of experience in Retail Store Operations / Sales (with at least 1 year training or supervisory experience)
OR
2 years of experience (for Diploma/Graduate candidates) in Retail Operations with training/supervisory exposure
Preference:
- Prior experience in skill training / PMKVY / Government projects
- Experience in classroom & practical training delivery
Key Responsibilities
Training & Delivery
- Deliver training as per Sector Skill Council approved curriculum (RAS/Q0103)
- Conduct theory, practical, and soft skill sessions
- Ensure effective learning outcomes aligned with NSQF standards
Candidate Management
- Counselling the candidates
- Training candidates as per SSC module curriculum
- Monitoring daily attendance
- Maintaining discipline and classroom engagement
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (Hindi & basic English preferred)
- Good presentation and classroom management skills
- Knowledge of retail operations, customer handling, and sales techniques
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MIS reporting)
- Ability to motivate and guide candidates
