About the Role
The Field Technician – Computing and Peripherals (ELE/Q4601) Trainer will be responsible for delivering skill training in computer hardware, peripherals, and basic IT support under the BSDM project. The trainer will guide and mentor candidates to develop technical competencies required for employment in the IT hardware and electronics service sector.
The trainer must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council such as the Electronics Sector Skill Council of India and should meet the education, qualification, and experience criteria as per NSQF guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Candidate Counselling
- Provide counselling and guidance to candidates regarding the training program, career opportunities, and skill development benefits.
- Support candidates in understanding the training structure and employment prospects.
2. Training Delivery
- Deliver classroom and practical training as per the Qualification Pack ELE/Q4601 curriculum designed by the Sector Skill Council.
- Train candidates in:
- Maintain and monitor daily attendance records of candidates.
- Ensure discipline and consistent participation during the training program.
- Prepare and submit daily MIS reports related to training progress, attendance, and activities.
- Maintain all required documentation as per project guidelines.
- Conduct internal mock tests and pre-assessments to evaluate candidates’ learning progress.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support.
- Prepare candidates for third-party assessment and certification conducted by the Sector Skill Council.
- Ensure candidates understand the assessment process and perform well.
- Motivate candidates for employment opportunities and guide them for interviews.
- Encourage candidates to achieve good assessment scores and successful placement outcomes.
- Maintain high training quality and ensure up to 95% successful assessment results.
- Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- TOT (Training of Trainers) Certification from the respective Sector Skill Council.
- Experience in computer hardware training, IT support, or technical education.
- Prior experience in skill development programs or government training projects will be preferred.
