Experience: Prior experience as a Steward in hospitality/service industry is mandatory
Role Overview:
A Steward at TATA STRIVE plays a key role in ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operations in restaurants, bars, lounges, or cafeterias. The position involves assisting customers, supporting staff members, maintaining a clean environment, and delivering excellent service. The steward ensures that guests have a comfortable and satisfying experience while also contributing to the efficient functioning of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas, service stations, and pantry.
- Assist customers courteously with seating arrangements, orders, and service needs.
- Support servers, bartenders, and chefs in food and beverage operations.
- Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, and equipment with proper care.
- Ensure availability of clean and sanitized plates, glasses, and utensils.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.
- Assist in stock management of service equipment and supplies.
- Address customer queries and escalate concerns to senior staff if required.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth flow of service during operations.
