Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our day-to-day production operations. The role involves managing a team of artisans, maintaining production quality, and ensuring timely delivery of handcrafted designer products. The ideal candidate should be disciplined, detail-oriented, and capable of maximizing artisans’ productivity while maintaining creativity and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team of artisans engaged in making designer handmade jewellery, earrings, and Rakhis.
- Ensure artisans maintain consistency, creativity, and high-quality standards in every product.
- Monitor daily production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and positive work ethics among artisans.
- Provide guidance, motivation, and support to enhance artisan productivity.
- Ensure efficient raw material usage and minimize wastage.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
- Track and report production status, issues, and artisan performance to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 12th Pass qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in production supervision (preferably in handicrafts/jewellery/handmade products).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to enforce discipline while motivating and guiding team members.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a handcraft-based, non-machinery environment.
