Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker / Packer to join our team. The role involves accurately picking items based on customer orders, checking product quality, and securely packing them for dispatch. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in warehouse operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from shelves as per customer orders, ensuring the correct products are selected.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for defects, damages, or discrepancies before packing.
- Packing: Pack products securely in appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Labeling & Documentation: Affix shipping labels and ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock picked and packed, reporting shortages or damages to the supervisor.
- Workplace Safety: Follow company safety and hygiene protocols while handling products and packaging materials.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order dispatch.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Good knowledge of Picker / Packer duties and warehouse operations.
- Ability to handle products carefully and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer knowledge for scanning and labeling (preferred).
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and move items.
- Punctual, responsible, and disciplined work approach.
Working Conditions:
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Working Hours: 9 hours (with breaks as per company policy)
- Weekly Offs: 4 days per month
- Industry: Warehouse / Logistics / E-commerce
