Role Overview
As an ASC/Q1105 Trainer specializing in the Automotive Telecaller job role (NSQF Level 4), you will mentor and coach candidates for Telecalling roles within the automotive sector, adhering to the Model Curriculum and National Occupational Standards (NOS) set by the Automotive Skills Development Council.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Based on the QP (Qualification Pack) for ASC/Q1105, the typical educational prerequisites for the job role include:
- 10th class pass
- OR Certificate – NSQF Level 3 (Automotive Showroom Host) with relevant experience
- OR 11th standard or ITI with experience or equivalent
Preferred for Trainer Position:
- Academic background aligned to NSQF Trainer guidelines (e.g., Graduate in any discipline, ideally with domain experience or pedagogy exposure)
- At least 2+ years of industry and/or training experience in similar job roles
- TOT (Training of Trainers) Certification from the appropriate Sector Skill Council
Key Responsibilities
- Counselling Candidates
Guide aspirants through program details, expectations, and role readiness. - Training Delivery
Conduct classes as per the ASC/Q1105 Module Curriculum (Model Curriculum for Telecaller training) - Attendance Monitoring
Track and ensure high attendance (daily marking, absentees follow-up). - Daily MIS Reporting
Furnish regular MIS reports highlighting training progress, attendance, engagement metrics. - Pre-assessment Evaluation
Assess baseline skills and identify gaps before commencing formal training. - Assessment & Certification Preparation
Prepare candidates thoroughly for QP-level assessments and ensure they’re certification-ready. - Motivating for Placement & Good Grades
Encourage candidates toward high performance and placement success. - Ensure ≥ 95% Success Rate
Aim for and maintain at least 95% training outcome success rate (course completion and assessment pass).
Trainer Competencies & Traits
- TOT-Certified: Must hold certification from the relevant Sector Skill Council (ASDC or similar).
- Transferable Training Skills: Strong communication, facilitation, digital engagement, and classroom management.
- NSQF & NOS Familiarity: Well-versed with ASC/Q1105 NOS units, Model Curriculum, and assessment criteria
- Empathy & Counseling Aptitude: Ability to motivate and support learners, especially with soft-skill development.
- Reporting & Documentation: Proficiency in tracking, analyzing, and reporting training outcomes.
