We are currently hiring English Teachers for our client initiative FEA (Freedom Employability Academy), focused on empowering youth with communication skills, digital literacy, and career readiness.
Job Role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for training batches of students in spoken English, digital literacy, and soft skills as per the structured FEA curriculum. The role requires a long-term commitment, dedication to student development, and the ability to relocate to rural/semi-urban locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 3 sessions daily (2.5 hours each) with batches of ~20 students.
- Teach English communication, personality development, and digital literacy.
- Complete 30 minutes of daily administrative/operational work.
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Counsel and mentor students to build confidence and employability skills.
- Participate in regular training sessions and evaluations at the Lucknow Training Campus.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and inclusivity in classrooms.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Graduation (any stream).
- Preferred Qualification: Good command over English & basic computer skills.
- Experience: Prior teaching/training experience preferred (freshers with strong English skills may apply).
- Two-wheeler ownership is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in villages/locations identified by the organization.
- Ability to commit minimum 1 year of employment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be disciplined, adaptable, and committed to the mission.
Work Schedule
- Full-time job: 8 hours/day, 6 days/week (split shifts between 6 AM – 7 PM).
- Sessions per Day: 3 sessions × 2.5 hrs = 7.5 hrs + 30 min admin work.
Training Program
- Duration: 40–90 days (based on performance).
- Timing: 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM (Sunday off).
- Facilities Provided: Free meals, basic lodging, computer lab, trainer support.
- Travel: Train ticket (sleeper class) provided by company.
- Stipend: Rs. 250/day (paid weekly).
- Appointment Letter: Issued only after successful completion of training.
- Note: No personal commitments or exam preparations allowed during training.
Compensation & Benefits
- Room Rent Support: Up to Rs. 3000/month (if relocation >20 km from home).
- Petrol Reimbursement: If distance from home >5 km.
